Privacy Policy & Terms of Use
We are currently in the planning phase.
The primary purpose of this page is to find out if there is demand, and to help shape our services.
Privacy Policy & Data Statement
We respect your data as much as we respect your business plan. No cookies, no pixels, no spies. At Etonator, we believe that small and medium‑sized businesses deserve better than the relentless data harvesting typical of consumer apps. This policy explains exactly what little data we collect, and why we collect it.
1. The Anonymous Survey
Our primary method of gathering feedback is a 60‑second survey. This survey is designed to be fully anonymous. No Personal Data: We do not ask for your name, phone number, or personal email address in the survey. Encrypted IP Hashing: To prevent spam and duplicate submissions, we generate a one‑way, encrypted hash of your IP address. We cannot reverse this hash to see your real IP address, and it is used solely to ensure data integrity.
Referral and Regional Tracking: We may record if you arrived at this page via a specific link. We also log your country to measure international interest and identify where demand is highest, but it is never tied to your personal identity.
2. Cookies and Tracking (The Zero‑Tracking Guarantee)
We do not believe in surveillance. No Tracking: We do not use tracking cookies, third‑party analytics, or advertising pixels. Session Storage Only: We only use your browser’s local sessionStorage to remember your visual preferences (like your dark/light mode choice) while you browse. This data never leaves your device.
Security Exceptions: We use Cloudflare to protect our infrastructure from malicious
bots and
DDoS attacks. As part of this, Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie (e.g.,
__cf_bm) to
verify you are human. We do not use this for tracking or profiling. For full transparency, you can
review Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.
3. Direct Contact
If you wish to discuss your setup, request survey results, or ask questions, we encourage you to reach out directly via email at spark@etonator.ie. Emails are read and responded to manually by the founder. We do not use automated CRM systems, email marketing platforms, or auto‑responders. Your email address is used solely to reply to your specific inquiry.
4. Data Retention and Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to know what data we hold about you and the right to have it deleted. Because our survey data is anonymized and hashed, we cannot identify individual survey respondents.
However, if you have contacted us directly via email, you may request the deletion of your email correspondence at any time by replying to our message or sending a request to spark@etonator.ie . We will process this request immediately.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy if our technical infrastructure changes. Any changes will be posted here with an updated revision date. We will never introduce hidden tracking or sell your data.

Terms of Use
Short version: We are currently in the concept and research phase. This site provides ideas, not formal advice. Use it responsibly. By accessing and using the Etonator website, you agree to the following simple terms.
1. Concept Phase & No Active Services
Etonator is currently in a research and concept-validation phase. The offerings described on this site (including Business Presence Sites, Transaction-Based Bookkeeping, and the Operational Backbone) are proposed concepts, not active, purchasable services. Browsing this site or completing our survey does not create any contractual relationship, service agreement, or expectation of immediate delivery.
2. Informational Purposes Only
The content, frameworks, and survey questions on this website are for informational and research purposes only. While founded by an Accounting Graduate and Web Developer, nothing on this site constitutes formal, binding accounting, legal, tax, or CRO compliance advice. Always consult a qualified professional for advice specific to your unique business situation.
3. Survey Participation
Our survey is designed to be fully anonymous and voluntary. We reserve the right to discard any submissions that are clearly spam, abusive, or generated by bots. To maintain data integrity, we use a one-way encrypted hash of your IP address solely to prevent duplicate submissions. We cannot reverse this hash to identify you.
4. No Warranties
We provide this website and its conceptual content "as is." While we strive for accuracy and high performance, we make no guarantees that the concepts described here will perfectly fit your specific business, nor do we guarantee a specific future launch.
5. Intellectual Property
The text, design, and operational concepts presented on this site are the intellectual property of Etonator. You are welcome to read and learn from them, but please do not copy our site's design, code, or proprietary text for your own commercial use.
